just got back from FOOD TRAIL!!!!!!! and it was fun fun fun!
i seriously didn't know i could eat like THAT much
i never fail to amaze myself haha

me, tricia, su and caryn were the literal heavy-weights during the 11 hrs we were out. we stayed throughout the whole trail while mash,qing,jocelyn had to leave halfway and peigin and emilie joined us ltr at night.
mash thinks i need to exercise now, at this unearthly hour
sorry mash, i can't find the drive u have towards exercise. i can't exercise ANYTIME
haha

so this was where we went
1000hrs Novena
Balastier - Tau Sar Piah
Thomson - Prata
Beach Road (army market) - Fondue, ice cream, glutinous rice balls, char kway teow
Katong - Laksa
Maxwell Food Centre - Dough Fritters and sweet potato balls
Adam Road - Nasi Lemak, Prawn Mee, Island Creamery
Geylang - Beef Kway Teow, Dou Jiang You Tiao, Dim Sum, cereal chicken

we had planned to end the trail at chomp chomp but we didn't make it there. i felt like a ball already. and the beef kway teow at geylang is NICE!!! =)

the food! oh glorious food. i know these dun look exactly appetizing but trust me, looks can be deceiving

at army market where we had fondue! i'm sure these two wanted to leave the chocolate on for the rest of the day


at kallang where the shops were brimming with heritage and elaborate, pretty tiles


and at maxwell, we get to cook the hum chim pang!!


and i finally went to island cremery!! pear sake wasn't as nice as i expected, black forest had rum in it ( much to the delight of susu i'm sure ;) ) but the mud pie was the BOMB. super super nice


off we went to adam road and then a long bus ride to geylang for beef kway teow and tau hway with you tiao. emilie cldn't handle the long you tiao hahaha


and last but not least, HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY CARYN!!! haha. u weren't serious in believing that we'll just give u the ugliest pez in the world and vodka blackcurrent were u?? haha knew u'll like the dress =) u've been a really great friend and the best shopping buddy (and it's not cus u're the only one *innocent grin*) in class!
we shall continue to be "honest with each other" cus we're friends. haha
