the past week have been nothing but fun
so fun that i've totally stopped studying which explains why i feel guilty now but nonetheless, from today onwards it's full steam for my schoolwork! i shall start with physio tutorial =(

knowing how much u've told me about carnivore, i decided that brazilian churrascaria was just the place to bring u although u spoilt ur own surprise ;)
and someone's face turned so red after brewerkz eh.. we must go back to try their appetisers! heard from joyce tt it's very nice esp the nachos! man i'm hungry..

1. adapt to the uniform ( regardless of whether it makes u look like a jellyfish )
2. walk around and mingle with people u don't know ( regardless of any language barrier eg. gurkas)
3. be willing to stand under the scorching heat ( cus do u see mascots standing in the shade??)
4. be accustomed to stares and comments ( like "can u grant me a wish??" )
5. PRAY for rain

i'm itching like a monkey AGAIN all thanks to the sexy spaghett costume.
but for the moolahs, it's WORTH IT

finally met up with mok after a long long while!
she brought me to holland v and it's smaller than i remembered it to be
it's a pity we cldn't stay out longer cus of mok's block supper but oh wells, let's meet up again!! =) lovelove.

mok's cheesecake with graham bisuits is nice! ferrero doesn't exactly taste like the ferrero chocolate

we cldn't go far cus grandpa's having a backache which can't be cured cus there's only a 50% chance of the pain going away if he were to undergo surgery. apparently even physiotherapy won't help ( WAD?!) cus he said he has 2 thorns in his lumbar-sacral area.. ok i've got no idea wad that is but i wish i could help him in some way..
but grandpa's still super cool. i'm beginning to suspect my vain-ness is inherited from him

just got back from FOOD TRAIL!!!!!!! and it was fun fun fun!
i seriously didn't know i could eat like THAT much
i never fail to amaze myself haha

me, tricia, su and caryn were the literal heavy-weights during the 11 hrs we were out. we stayed throughout the whole trail while mash,qing,jocelyn had to leave halfway and peigin and emilie joined us ltr at night.
mash thinks i need to exercise now, at this unearthly hour
sorry mash, i can't find the drive u have towards exercise. i can't exercise ANYTIME
haha

so this was where we went
1000hrs Novena
Balastier - Tau Sar Piah
Thomson - Prata
Beach Road (army market) - Fondue, ice cream, glutinous rice balls, char kway teow
Katong - Laksa
Maxwell Food Centre - Dough Fritters and sweet potato balls
Adam Road - Nasi Lemak, Prawn Mee, Island Creamery
Geylang - Beef Kway Teow, Dou Jiang You Tiao, Dim Sum, cereal chicken

we had planned to end the trail at chomp chomp but we didn't make it there. i felt like a ball already. and the beef kway teow at geylang is NICE!!! =)

the food! oh glorious food. i know these dun look exactly appetizing but trust me, looks can be deceiving

at army market where we had fondue! i'm sure these two wanted to leave the chocolate on for the rest of the day


at kallang where the shops were brimming with heritage and elaborate, pretty tiles


and at maxwell, we get to cook the hum chim pang!!


and i finally went to island cremery!! pear sake wasn't as nice as i expected, black forest had rum in it ( much to the delight of susu i'm sure ;) ) but the mud pie was the BOMB. super super nice


off we went to adam road and then a long bus ride to geylang for beef kway teow and tau hway with you tiao. emilie cldn't handle the long you tiao hahaha


and last but not least, HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY CARYN!!! haha. u weren't serious in believing that we'll just give u the ugliest pez in the world and vodka blackcurrent were u?? haha knew u'll like the dress =) u've been a really great friend and the best shopping buddy (and it's not cus u're the only one *innocent grin*) in class!
we shall continue to be "honest with each other" cus we're friends. haha

night!

last night i had a dream of the texas chainsaw massacre fella chasing after me in my primary school. In my dream, i was a african boy and i seeked refuge in a blonde girl's house whom i met when i was trying to blend into the choir so that the fella won't spot me. I did a really good job hiding from him by running through this small room tt's like a bookstore and places which i dun recall anymore. funny how the bookstore seem so familiar. like i've dreamt about it since dunno when. anyway, i was at the blonde girl's home where i told her all about the fella and we were yelling at her mom to close the door so he wldn't find me. guess wad, he did find me but he didn't bring his chainsaw (maybe it's hidden somewhere). he came in and greeted her mom and even sat down to have dinner ( wad?!) and he had a really handsome face which must belong to some poor guy who got killed by him according to the original movie.
i woke up after seeing his face

this is the reason why i can't/don't want/hate to watch horror/thrillers. i have a photographic memory when it comes to images and a very active imagination. and i only watched 30 mins of the show at the movie marathon at susu's place last friday.

hmm.
